Any place without an extradition treaty with the US would do.
Trump probably wouldn’t mind Dubai. I think one of his towers is actually there.

Serious wishcasting fantasy going on itt.
Coast Guard can board a US flagged ship on the high seas anywhere in the world, or a foreign flagged ship with that country’s permission. Many countries have agreed to allow USCG to board their ships in general.
Be that as it may there had to be gross dereliction by people other than Trump. Stuff that sensitive shouldn’t be lost track of. Like how do you not know where it is even for a split second?
I think the more interesting question is whether his secret service people would prevent him from being taken into custody (which, to be clear, no one will ever attempt). But, I have to assume the guys he has around him are true believers, and I think they’d at least try to prevent anybody from getting to him (which again, will never happen).
Serious question: How does Trump have even a single friend? What benefit is there to befriending a pathological lying narcissist who throws everyone under a bus eventually? I never understood how people like that survive and don’t make so many enemies that they get turned on
And how would you propose they do that?
He has lots of fucking money.
they probably don’t have any friends either
Dubai is one of the E’s in the UAE. I could let one post slide implying they were separate countries, but two has triggered me and now I must be a nit.
Do any rich people actually flag their yachts in the US?
My dude, the US is a kakistocracy. The idea that any of his appointees understand proper handling of this stuff is laughable. Trump trusts Fox more than our Intel agencies. Who the fuck knows what these idiots were doing. Based on your posting you seem to think the Trump admin was operating 2 or 3 levels higher than they actually were. He is a level 0 thinker dog who caught the car.
I’m not sure I have ever rustled anyone on purpose as I’ve rustled you unintentionally. It’s truly fascinating, really.
I honestly don’t understand the process. I’d have thought highly trusted dedicated military/CIA personnel would be in charge of overseeing such sensitive material. Am I to understand any WH administration can shoo away the defense department, intel agencies, etc., and say, “Just leave that super sensitive material that could sink our country on that desk over there. We got this! You can go now.”?
The problem here is that there are about 3 or so different Trump leaving the country scenarios here that everyone is discussing and they’re running together. Could he leave tomorrow? Could he leave if he was indicted? How exactly would he leave in various scenarios?
Depending on how this goes down, I think there are plenty of countries that would give him asylum and that the US would still maintain relations with them. Or at least resume relations when DeSantis is president (at which time Orange Man could just go back to Florida anyway).
The reality is that he doesn’t need to go anywhere and he never will need to.
Right now there is probably no issue at all if he felt like taking a trip for any reason.
They had four years to chip away at and break the system. Included by this was hollowing out a lot of institutions and replacing career staff with political hacks. So, yeah, I’m not surprised by this at all.

They don’t need to shoo anyone away. The White House probably has unaccompanied access to whatever intel they want. Nobody’s going to babysit the President.
I can’t emphasize enough how the “top brass” guys in the military aren’t much different than the yes-men slappies you find at the top of the corporate ladder. They’re about as likely to tell the POTUS “You can’t do that” as Zuckerberg’s guys are to tell him Meta was a terrible idea. Just look at Generals Flynn and Mattis.
But years after the fact they’ll write books about how much they really wanted to.
