Yeah I just saw that too. He’s obviously likely to object and then publicly keep asking why they won’t unseal it and keep stroking the same bullshit.
Even Trump will have a hard time asking publicly why the warrant wasn’t unsealed when he is the one objecting to it. And not a lawyer, but if he publicly asks for the warrant to be released, wouldn’t that be admissible to bring to the judge and have it unsealed. Seems hard to argue on both sides of this.
No he won’t. He can say all in one sentence “I am a big tough guy that told them they can’t unseal it and why are they scared to unseal it, huh, what are they afraid of?” And the Trumpkins will clap.

The obvious Trump play is to scream whatever the hell he wants to in public while his lawyers do the legal stuff in the courtroom. It’s the same way that he runs around yelling ELECTION FRAUD even though most of the cases he lost didn’t actually allege fraud occurred and, in the cases where the judge asked, his attorneys usually explicitly said that they were not making that claim

He’ll just say he isn’t agreeing to release the warrant until the DOJ agrees to release “everything,” and then will enter into a dumb stalemate which will be good enough for his cult members.
The Manafort warrant application was like 40 pages, and the warrant itself would be very specific about what they’re seeking. Trump has both the application and warrant.
