The Former Presidency of Donald J. Trump, Volume XI: The Crypt Keeper Years

So when does Mueller report get declassified?

More “view from nowhere” garbage:

Assholes, the entire fucking world knows they tried to overturn the election. Write a story about whether there will be consequences and how that might happen, or not. This is a complete waste of everyone’s time.

looks like they are eating this shit straight right out of russian disinformation.

Just going to keep pointing out that no matter how much the media ignores it and hopes it magically changes, the current mainstream Republican position is that the election was stolen, the insurrection was justified and violence against liberals is acceptable if not encouraged.

The most concerning post Trump thing so far is how many state GOP parties have no qualms about being totally insane publicly.

Is Trump the only President to also win a Razzie? Also I have never seen The Apprentice in syndication. Did CNBC used to run it?

Trump’s Apprentice payments peaked in 2018 when he received more than $2 million, and in 2019 fell to just over $1.6 million. Last year, however, the payments fell to just $275,000, according to the latest disclosure forms. While the filing does not detail why the Trump Productions income fell by so much, it is likely tied to syndication rights and reruns for the reality show.

This might be the only thing that saves the Dems in 2022 - the GOP going too batshit crazy in too many states.

Who is Ohio’s Martha McSally or Kelly Loeffler? Did Bernie have a point about women running for office and we should be encouraging Republicans to try to chase after the female vote by having more non-male candidates?

Every single GOP congressperson from Ohio is male.

The state is completely hopeless politically moving forward, the smart people all leave and those that remain get ever more deplorable.

Unless the insurrection makes you squeamish, then it was antifa.

Doesn’t really matter. A McSally/Loeffler type would win in Ohio.

It’s not swing state 2008/2012 anymore. Ohio is red as fuck now.

I think I still own TrumpFan88 if anyone wants to take it over.

I think a good Democratic candidate and a bad Republican candidate, combined with a successful COVID vaccine rollout and economic recovery, has at least some chance of swinging the seat in a state where the popular vote in combined House races in 2018 was 52-47. Sure Democrats only got around 42% in 2016 and 2020, but it’s not hopeless, even if it might require pretty much everything to go right. It’s’ within the range of possible outcomes, even if it is a longshot.

It has all the makings of a mediocre D candidate raising $150 million, getting some good “internal” polls, getting our hopes up then losing by 10 points.

How would you feel about a good D candidate facing off against a Republican who has a Todd Akin moment? What if there actually was a Trumpist third party candidate?

It should be viewed as a lean R more than solid R state, but there are other states which are a better chance of picking up a seat (PA, WI, NC). Is it a better pickup opportunity than Missouri, where Roy Blount only won 49-46 on his last go-around?

I don’t think a Todd Atkins moment is even possible anymore.

R Candidate: dumb insanely offensive shit
Media: what did you say?
R Candidate: Fake News!
Media: what?
R Candidate: I said shut up, Fake News!
Media: huh, are you serious right now?
R Candidate: Tellin you one last time, shut your mouth before I come shut it for you!
Ohio Voters: woohooo, tell that Fake News what up! R landslide…

For a Republican candidate, a Todd Akin moment might take the form of criticizing Trump, I suppose.

Oh good
