Yeah I guess people ITT might not be aware that the GOP were 100% correct about the Steele dossier, it was a political hit job that was more or less completely made up. This guy is being charged with lying to the FBI, for example:

But, the indictment said, the executive — who in his professional career frequently interacted with Eurasian clients, with a particular focus on Russia — was a source for some of the claims, including gossip about the ouster of Paul Manafort as Mr. Trump’s campaign chairman.
The indictment did not name the person it called “PR Executive-1,” but its description matched the career of Charles Dolan Jr., who was the state chairman of the Clinton-Gore campaigns in Virginia in 1992 and 1996 and was appointed to a position in the State Department in the Clinton administration.
This is Democratic party gossip repackaged as intelligence. Other lies concern who his sources were for other claims, as well as lying to the FBI about who he was working for. He was basically 100% full of shit about everything.
Uh he’s being charged as part of the Bill Barr engineered John Durham “investigate the investigators” sham. After coming up empty on the “prove all things Russia were politically motivated lies” mission, he’s now charged two people, both for allegedly lying, and has uncovered basically a complete airball.
To my knowledge no actual elected or otherwise powerful Democrats did anything on the basis of the Steele dossier, and it surprises exactly nobody that some or all of it is bullshit.
If they got to that part then democrats couldn’t keep saying that they need our votes to accomplish anything. If they only had every seat in the senate and every seat in the house, they would certainly get it done then!
