My dad was installing attic insulation and needed me to feed the suction funnel thing outside while he worked in the attic. All I wanted to do was watch the news. And it was a two day project.
Damn did he not care about 9/11? Or could the project not be put on hold ?
He had rented the machine for 2 days. Wasn’t about to let that go to waste to watch some news that would be on endlessly after the project was finished.

He definitely was, and I can appreciate that now. I actually shared a fun Coasterdad story in the Afghanistan thread about what he did immediately post 9/11. He’s a wise old man for sure.
