I don’t buy this. How is he gonna destroy the GOP? They might lose an election cycle or two, but they already lost the last 2 with him. And as far as elections go, he won’t be around much longer. Dude is 75. Are they really worried about an 80 something year old dotard?

Yea I really don’t get the GOP. Trump isn’t president anymore. They have to go through a primary. At some point, they have to attack him. It’s politics.
The GOP is going to win and install one-party rule. They accidentally stumbled upon a good strategy for maximizing their (huge) structural advantages, and they only have to win once.
