You may wonder what happens to a white male who belligerently and repeatedly f-bombs the judge when charged with violently assaulting police officers.

If you guessed “nothing,” congratulations, you nailed it.

You might also ask, “what happens when a president illegally pays off his mistress in plain violation of campaign finance law?”

Again, if you answered “nothing,” you win!

What Jeffrey Epstein-like hold does this man hold over the establishment that he can get away with literally anything for time eternal?

He remains massively popular amongst the GOP base and can destroy any politician with a fax.

I don’t buy this. How is he gonna destroy the GOP? They might lose an election cycle or two, but they already lost the last 2 with him. And as far as elections go, he won’t be around much longer. Dude is 75. Are they really worried about an 80 something year old dotard?

Imagine trump just misses winning Republican nomination due to shenanigans.

Would be amazing and perhaps our only hope for long term survival.

Yea I really don’t get the GOP. Trump isn’t president anymore. They have to go through a primary. At some point, they have to attack him. It’s politics.

The GOP is going to win and install one-party rule. They accidentally stumbled upon a good strategy for maximizing their (huge) structural advantages, and they only have to win once.
