Like tax cheating, slumlording is a freeroll for rich assholes. When caught, they pay a fraction of what they stole. Spoiler: they then keep doing it.

Did everybody vote for Biden on the bamboo ballots? What if Trump won the bamboo ballot vote?

I guess we’ll see how much power he still has in the party. (My guess: a shit-ton)

Trump keeps trying to completely self-destruct. Just pay! It’s not even his own money. Nothing matters

Es el cinco. Do they serve taco salad at Mar-a-lago?

I was expecting that after he left office, those who were loyal but were eventually shat upon by Trump would be eager to come out of the woodwork and regale us with stories of what a shit show the administration was, if not expose downright crimes, as a means of exacting revenge.

Yet not a single one has done this.

They only need to wait a few years and they can have the same jobs back.

Also most of them are likely criminally implicated and have slightly less invulnerability than Trump himself.

Some of those after a quick buck have gotten book deals, but anyone who thinks they have a political future can’t jump ship.

You guys are too cynical. Can’t a Trumper be a sincere shithead?

The cheat code Trump has is that he is authentically stupid, and the rubes know it.

I agree with this take. People have a lizard brain level read on people and like authenticity. Trump isn’t pretending to be anything he isn’t except a businessman… but he doesn’t know that because he’s a raging narcissist who has never taken personal responsibility for anything in his entire life. He’s authentically a complete idiot.

Trump is a perfect example of the toxicity of the cult of positive thinking that has been popular since that idiot wrote that stupid book in 1952. It’s the perfect defense mechanism for mega narcissist fuckups. They’re practically bullet proof.

No Republican who wants a future in politics can turn on Trump. Even Romney is under fire.

Yeah but it’s the principle of it. Trump wouldn’t pay Rudy for actual work he did. No way he is covering his legal costs.

That’s the knock on Vimeo. Everything they do is worse than someone else.

…farming out of 2.1 million ballots from the state’s most populous county to a contractor may run afoul of federal law requiring ballots to remain in the control of elections officials for 22 months.

And Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Pamela S. Karlan said that the Senate contractor’s plans to directly contact voters could amount to illegal voter intimidation.
