They actually made significant gains with blacks, latinos, and young people.
And all they have to do is make it to 2022 with no voter protection legislation and they will achieve power for decades. Under these new voter suppression laws it will be impossible for democrats to get all three branches again to stop them from doing whatever they want to maintain power.
Isn’t that because of the whole stupid defund the police crap? It’s not because they like Trump. His popularity is like 32% now.

We don’t really know but honestly I highly, highly doubt it. The defund the police stuff MIGHT have lost democrats some old white moderates.
What made the Republicans gain in those area’s was likely open for business, qanon and conspiracy theorists in general, and just be great with propaganda. They made MASSIVE gains with cubans in Florida because they just hammered Biden as a socialist.

IIRC the Qanon group on FB was like 5 million strong before it got banned and was mostly young people. Dumb people who had way too much time on their hands during the pandemic.
Plus young people weren’t afraid of the virus, so a ton of them wanted the country to open up.
Hopefully they go away, but I think it’s more likely they have bought into the rights propaganda and are now addicted to the outrage of hating the libs.
