Omg. When I was 8 I was too small to go on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea so I had to wait in an hour line with my Mom for the freakin’ Hall of Presidents while my big brothers and Dad had all the fun. The told me what an awesome ride it was. This was 1973.
In 2000 we all went back for the parents 50th. 20,000 Leagues had just closed a year earlier.
Summary
My brothers told 35 year old Dan that 20,000 Leagues was cheesy and sucked. They just told me how great it was to hear me cry about it. I had bemoaned this for 27 years. Assholes.

I thought the Hall of Presidents was pretty cool when I went to Disney when I was 10.
I don’t remember anything about my trip to Disneyworld.
I think I went on some scary ride that went up and down. Maybe the Tower of Terror?
Tower of Terror is a Universal Studios ride.
Universal might have had something similar? But ToT is/was definitely a Disney thing (Hollywood Studios).
Tower of Terror is Disney, and is one of the goat Disney rides at that.
My most memorable trip to Disney World involved LSD, Space Mountain and C&C Music Factory.

I made a joke on Facebook after a day at Magic Kingdom in 2019 that I was posting a picture of the scariest attraction in the park…and then I posted a shot of the Trumpified Hall of Presidents.

We took our girls on the Tower of Terror when they were 4 and 6, because their mother decided that was the attraction we needed to go to first once we were inside the gates
Afterwards, the 4 year old was not happy.

Incorrect. It is a Hollywood Studios ride. Hollywood Studios used to be called MGM. It was the third Disney park and opened in the late 80’s.
You had a tall 4 year old. 40 inch Height restriction on TOT.
This is correct. TOT is definitely one of the GOAT Disney rides.
