i dont understand how Dems haven’t learned that it’s not about “convincing republicans” or any bullshit like that, everything is about optics.
it’s not a win to get a statement into the record that not one single senator is going to look at a second time or give a shit about, but a show witness with some nice sound bites is SIGNIFICANTLY better PR, than the charlie brown with the football look the dems give EVERYTIME.
are they never going to understand modern politics is about messaging, not the politics… like the republicans haven’t had a single policy outside of racism and tax cuts for two decades and they got 70 million votes…
