Anybody can be whacked if the shooter is competent, works alone and is willing to die. Luckily that combination is extremely rare and most people talk about their plans and the ones willing to die are rarely competent.

Our president is set to issue 100 pardons on his last day in full day office. It would be a fitting climax by the writers of this four-year crap show if he were to pardon all of those known to be involved in the coup attempt as his final deplorable act.
One for the constitutional scholars: if Biden gets assassinated before being inaugurated, is he ever President? Or is Harris No. 46 in that case?
Depends what time. The inauguration is a show, he assumes office at noon even if the ceremony never happens.
