Completely agree. Besides the cable tv live (semi-live) coverage of January 6th, I also watched some live internet feeds. I can remember nothing resembling the footage shown today in the Senate documenting the fierce battle. In fact, I can remember footage of police officers putting up little to no resistance as protestors entered the Capitol building and entered various rooms. In retrospect, I am guessing that the footage I remember must have come from well after the initial encounters.
Seriously this could be the FBI at a criminal trial and with any big city jury Trump would be looking at from now on. They need to just arrest him already. The GOP is actually kind of right–this really is silly. Fuck running again he shouldn’t be walking around free right now.
