Just… lol.
Liquidations
That’s how many millions of dollars people lost leveraging their account because of the dip right around when ImJosh suggested Eth was about to rip up to 5k.
XRP is nothing based on nothing that does nothing. They’re printing more of it forever and there’s people with giant stockpiles of it lying to you about what it’s capable of.
DOGE was started as a joke. It is nothing based on nothing that does nothing but at least it is self aware. A friendly cult as opposed to XRP’s deranged cult. Nobody is smart enough to properly value how much a “meme” is worth so there are massive fluctuations as our bored COVID world tries to make a quick $. Some people that are exceptionally smart and/or informed have made millions by “ape’ing” into momentum trades. Some 90iq dullards will make money aping along by copying what the smartest people do - but many more will lose money.
not a big fan of this DOGE business
In how many timelines does DOGE replace the USD? We are in a meme timeline but are we in THE meme timeline??
I posted this a month or two ago and it applies even more now to Ripple and DOGE:
The above graph was XVG in 2017/18, below is DOGE now:
$$ doesn’t care about your feelings and neither do I. Calling out scamcoins (XRP), ponzi schemes (Topshot) and blind guessing disguised as TA (ImJosh’s habit of saying how things “seem” or “feel” or what they “could do” based on nothing) has no bearing on my emotions.
If you want positivity, SOL, SRM, CAKE all seem interesting. Don’t buy garbage just because your stupidest friends have heard of something.
That’s fair I suppose; Ripple makes me mad and DOGE is starting to also even though I love it’s jokey aspect. It just seemed like something else was going on.
I saw way too many people go broke last cycle.
Whoa, josh has an insane amount of pull.
Yeah that’s actually what I was getting at, like, begging your friends or family not to FOMO at the top and having them not listen and subsequently get rekt, or something like that. I wasn’t gonna ask you to share anything personal but it seemed like a motivator and something that’d hurt to watch.
it’s looked like the #1 crypto for awhile now so yeah
edit–maybe it’s just me but it really feels like bitcoin is the old, and dogecoin is the new
That’s such a tough spot though.
If you tell people not to buy something and they listen to you and it moons, then they will blame you for their lack of profits.
If you tell people not to buy something and they don’t listen to you and it dumps, then they will be jealous of you or mad at you for not being convincing enough.
Pretty hard to win in any situation where someone comes to you for financial advice. That’s why the DYOR response is pretty important I think, even though it’s basically a meme at this point. No one wants to be responsible for someone else’s anger or misfortune. The only exception to this for me is if it’s clearly like a gambling problem or something (this hasn’t come up, just sorta thinking to myself on when I would break this rule)
At 75c DOGE will pass BNB, lol. This thing has a life of its own now, GME-style. The floor (relative to where it was like a year ago) should go up just because of how many people know about it and are buying it now (which is my explanation for why GME is still trading north of $100 - it basically became a household name). Not saying I think DOGE is gonna keep going up forever but I think it’s unlikely we’ll see sub 1c DOGE anytime soon
a cool quadrillion
I wonder how everyone “shoots for” 10k.
