She is underinvested, by a lot

Funny thing is I’m sure her investment firm has her holding more btc than any of us given I assume she’s worth at least mid 8 figures.

Not your keys, not your coins.

May be misunderstanding the sanctions, but think the West may have actually pulled an all-time heist in supposedly “allowing” Putin and his cronies to accumulate all that foreign currency and then pulling this on him?:

It’s Shillary, so it’s 100% a ploy to enrich people connected to her, amplify talking points for state dept / spooks, or (most likely) some combination of both. She did this same bit on Rachel’s show back in November. Like, her point is to come on and talk about regulating crypto regardless of the actual news of the day, even if that news is some unhinged fucking lunatic trying to start WW3. Plugging a book would be roughly the same level of shameless and disingenuous promotion and would be way better than this.

I understand this and am for sanctions because of it.

If it were possible, I’d like to cut off all internet between Russia and the outside world, knowing this harms the ability of everyday Russians to access Western propaganda on Ukraine. If this could be done, how would it affect Russians trying to do crypto transactions?

is there anyway to know what the average or median Russian crypto wallet contains? like i get that you can trot out the number that 11% of russians have SOME presence in crypto, but i would assume that includes every wallet including all the busto ones.

and im sure everyone from the oligarchs to the bros will lean hard on that number to say that sanctions on it are unjust and actually hurting “regular people”, but i’m much more interested in the median wallet than the fact that 11% dabbled, and potentially something like 10% of that 11% control all of it…

Meanwhile:

Those yachts should have been seized immediately.

I’m fine with sanctions causing collateral damage on ordinary citizens, but it seems lots of our sanctions only hurt ordinary citizens while we bypass easy methods that would only go after oligarchs. Probably because those oligarchs have high-powered friends in Western governments while no one cares about random Russians.

And once you start going after them directly you have to start untangling US real estate transactions and who knows where that might lead.

Better to fuck over the population instead.

Update on this, the ‘Kevin’ ones have become a meme hit and are selling at ~5e+ now.
