Fast food delivers cheap calories to billions of people daily. Seems like there’s some quantifiable value there but idk.

It’s definitely a utilitarian idea and I oppose utilitarian ethics.
It isn’t necessarily utilitarian. Many ethical systems can get you to the same conclusion. The only tenet is that all else equal it’s better to improve the lives of two people than one person.
