I’ve listened to most of the call. It really reminds me of the calls I used to get at the radio and tv stations where I worked. Broadcast outlets are a magnet for the mentally ill who are aggrieved over something…maybe losing custody of a child or being placed in a facility. Its usually just a lot of rambling that goes nowhere. Finally, you just have to say “look, I got another call…have a nice day” and you hang up. I’m sure Brad and his lawyer would have done the same thing, if it wasn’t the President of the United States.

Seems like the current scorecard for really obvious 2024 candidates is 2-1 (Cruz/Hawley vs. Cotton). Maybe ends up 2-2 if Rubio lands on the “no” side. I doubt Graham tries for President again, so not counting him.

Apparently my wife’s grandfather got banned from calling the talk radio in their small town.
When he passed they found a “book of gripes” that included my MIL (his daughter) and governors Pataki and Cuomo.
I never met him but he left a great “travelogue” of Europe— as a tank gunner. He saw the camps and was at the Eagles Nest on VE Day. Apparently “drank gin taking a bath in Hitlers tub” with the pics to prove it (not the bath part but the Eagles nest for sure).

Typical rich person legal strategy, tie it up as long as possible through appeals and make the person with less money cry uncle because they can’t afford legal fees.

So… just throwing it out there, but a system where the incoming congress elected the president would be a far superior system…
They are turning us into communists by allowing corporations to take over our government. Interesting.

Trump, while truly unimaginably stupid, is a fantastic bully. He is really, really good at it!
The GA Secretary of State does a great job on the call. He doesn’t play along at all, which is how you get in to trouble in these spots, trying to placate the narcissist to make the ranting stop and all of a sudden you’ve agreed to do things you really don’t want to do (that will get you in big trouble, at which point the narcissist throws you under the bus).

Yea maybe spoiler alert for you but at the end I thought the Ryan guy was caving and then he was like nah we’re not giving you those records we will just let our lawyers meet with yours to tell you why we’re not giving them to you and why you’re wrong point by point… Again.
