Grandpa’s tweets have really slowed down these past few weeks.
Am I the only one who thinks he thinks he is arguing against Bernie here? I can absolutely see Trump not understanding what Bernie is doing and reactively screaming at him “no we need $2k, not $600 you socialist demonRAT!”

Is it $2,000 per person including $2,000 instead of $600 for the kids? As in a family of four will get $8,000? If so, that’s pretty decent. Add that to what was sent out to families of four back in March and you’re basically at $1,000 a month per family for the year. I know it’s not enough to live on, but it’d still be the most generous one year social safety direct payment program in our history, wouldn’t it?
I mean, the tweet wasn’t exactly third level thinking, it looks like face value to me.
