Does the RICO statute apply to situations like these? I mean the entire family is working together to essentially ransack the American people in a series of elaborate and occasionally not-so-elaborate series of grifts and scams.

This is the truly insane thing. Dems are likely going to lose both seats in Georgia against one candidate who is a criminal, a party who is historically unpopular led by the least popular president in a long time, while said party runs a campaign aimed at discouraging their own voters by telling them all the system is rigged and voting is for suckers.

The RICO statute applies to approximately nothing, and could only apply to anything if wielded by an aggressive and determined prosecutor. The new AG, alas, will not be an aggressive and determined prosecutor.
