The Confederacy of Donald J. Trump: A Confederacy of Dunces

Is this true?

Not to read too much into it, but if he leaves or is fired that’s slightly good news on the pardon front imo. Presumably, he would have been the guy figuring most of that shit out, now it’s going to be a sloppy free-for-all that may leave some people legally exposed when the music stops.

I don’t know about you, but I’m quite certain he can out dance me.

I’m going to be the person posting “Kobe!!!” if Rudy dies in a crash while being medvac’ed to a hospital.

I would be willing to bet money that Kemp will be the nominee for gov in 2022. Ultimately Republicans will be convinced that they have to rally behind Kemp with Stacey Abrams looming. Same reason that Loeffler beat Collins.

I mean your claim concerning your dancing prowess

Counties in GA were created when people got around on foot or horse, so they had to be small.

I only dance on graves.

Yeah, I agree with this. I think jman or someone was guessing that Kemp is a 9:1 dog to even win that primary, which I think is insane. Kemp is the favorite and a huge one.

I hope they’ll play an eternal hologram of you dancing on your own. I need the precedent so that I may request the same.

It’s the answer I got when I noticed that Counties increase in size from east to west and asked my ArcGIS prof in college. How would you explain it?

No idea.

I think it’s difficult to draw a line between what Trump is pretending to believe and what he actually believes, because of the way appearance and reality are constantly conflated for him anyway. To me that’s the difficult thing to grasp about Trump, that the difference between appearance and reality is a matter of total indifference to him. You can see that with COVID. It’s not just that making it look like the US is controlling COVID would be as acceptable to him as actually controlling it. It’s that when he gives passing thought to the matter, there is no distinction between those two things. “We’d have less cases if we didn’t test” is more or less saying this out loud. He only distinguishes between appearance and reality when absolutely forced to do so.

I would say that whether he’s doing this election stuff for the grift or whether he “really believes it” is in a sort of quantum state. He won’t resolve whether or not he really believes it until there is no option but to do so.
