Uh I thought the term was clemencies but am now confused.
Commutation is lessening of a sentence. Pardon is vacating an offense? Both are types of clemency, I think?

When Trump’s SCOTUS inevitably rules his pardon power unlimited, Biden should have a list ready to just start handing out pardons like candy to highlight the absurdity.
I actually don’t think SCOTUS will uphold a self-pardon. Will happily book some action on this.
