The beer, wine, and spirits thread

I would try to make it to Pezzi King if you can.

My buddy says Matanzas Creek tasting room in Bennet Valley is a very beautiful short drive from downtown Sonoma. He also said you should go to Gloria Ferrer for bubbly. He recommends the Fig Cafe (in Glenn Ellen) and La Hacienda for eats. (Also El Molino but he likes La Hacienda better.)

Thanks. I think Healdsburg is too far for us, maybe tomorrow when it’s supposed to rain we’ll go up that way and poke around.

I love (Alsatian) Riesling and do like Zinfandel, usually from NZ the best (jammy and earthy).

Ferrer is a no brainer for a glass, and La Hacienda seems great. Stay tuned for photos…

I thought this said Pretzel King and I was thinking a pretzel would be great right now! (We are having one of our first really crisp cool days of the fall today.)

Yeah I’m creeping around on Google Maps now and Healdsburg looks pretty, pretty cool. Will try to convince the group of a Sunday trip.

I’m gonna take this to the travel thread so as not to clog things up here.

Unless those are psylocybes, and I’m pretty sure they aren’t, wat? Who would even think that’s a good idea?

I haven’t had mountain dew in years but I’d try almost all of those haha

Deets.

Pretty gross overly sweet mezcal nonsense, big pass. Probably richest area of the state though so fun people watching.

Mancanda?

yup. Drinks were bad, dinner blah TBH wouldn’t recommend at least not what we ate. Literally don’t remember.

I like Colita and Martina but haven’t been to this spot yet. He seems to be expanding like crazy, can’t imagine he can keep the same quality at all of these new spots.

Oh yeah now I remember one more thing, the wife said the chair she was in was the most uncomfortable chair she’s ever had in a restaurant so they have that going for them. I was in the booth side obv

I was able to snag a couple of 3F beers today. I’ve never tried any of their beers so I’m pretty pumped to crack a couple open tonight.

I really like Gumballhead, I’ve had zombie dust but don’t remember much about it

Gumballhead was good and crushable. Zombie Dust is much more complex and hoppy, my favorite of the two.

These are pretty great for what they are.
