While I agree, Costco has also spent nearly $0 on advertising the past 4 decades, so I’m kinda ok with a couple week long marketing blitz every so often.
It’s 75 here in KC and I’m in shorts at Costco reading this while eating a 1/4 lb hot dog that was $1.50 with drink.

On reflection, I was just a little salty after the morning dog walk in 33f with a sprinkle of precipitation knowing that the Costco marketing team, whose HQ is probably 10 miles away, are experiencing the same thing. Also found out someone siphoned gas out of our Suburban on that walk. So, it was a shitty morning.
