This may not be popular to say around here, but I find this glib comment on this topic to be distasteful. Abortion should be legal, accessible, and as rare as possible. We should strive to prevent unwanted pregnancies with expansive access to affordable contraceptives covered by insurance, and to make other options available and efficient (like adoption and programs to ensure that low income families can support a child), so that women have numerous available options. Then we should, of course, support their right to choose.
At any rate, abortion is not something to be taken lightly or joke about.
