Also from the department of “too much time this morning”, I saw a blown up version of the pics, and the gate display says local time is 4:10PM. The gate number is hard to make out, but looks like Exx. UA1020, IAH-CUN departed gate E10 at 4:45PM. Unless he went to Cancun on the same flight at some other point in the last year, it’s him.
Damn son, a+
100% him.
The fact that Ted Cruz can fly commercial without having someone throw a human feces spiked milk shake at him is proof that this country is much too polite. Absolutely none of his class of politicians should be able to go anywhere heavily frequented by the college educated without something really unpleasant happening.
Our ancestors ran people like him out of town coated in hot tar with chicken feathers thrown on top to quite literally add insult to injury.
Especially in context. My power is off as often as it is on plus I have no water and I’m in month 11 of an almost totally unmitigated pandemic largely because of Ted Cruz and his friends.
I’m literally paying first world money for a third world disaster experience and he’s flying down to Cancun. Fuck him forever.
Alright, I’m evil. I laughed. That’s some serious fuck you in particular shit.
I’m pretty sure its gods vengence for using sparkle under eye filters in a video she wants people to take seriously
I mean she will come out of the ordeal +EV with probably a big go fund me and a ton of internet fame.
The car should be fine right anyways right? Assuming she didn’t have a sun roof that it smashed through.
Kind of a meta-theme to some of my posting.
I am pretty mild mannered IRL, and if I saw Ted Cruz in an airport lounge I would 100% approach him and give him a hard time. I would not raise my voice or threaten him but I would definitely make him uncomfortable, assuming he’s capable of that.
You are all being too hard on Ted Cruz.

Obviously it is preposterous to expect a sitting US Senator to have any influence over constituent needs.
Doubtful. My dream airport lounge run-in would be with Susan Collins, who I would really like to light into and I think would feel it.
I would quietly sit near him and see if I could surreptitiously record his phone conversations. I would reassess if he is anywhere near a balcony.
I’ve had this conversation elsewhere about the importance of constituent services for members of Congress. We should be looking at how various Representatives, who are up for re-election earlier, are handling this crisis and seeing who is making themselves more vulnerable in 2022.
I’m just gonna drive by here and point out that “Person X can’t unilaterally change Thing Y therefore they are justified in not even trying” isn’t just a Republican line of thinking. Many Dems think that way as well, up to and including when Person X is the sitting President of the United States.
But yea, Erick “I am very smart” Son Of Erick is a complete buffoon and regularly contributes to the ‘performative drama’ that he pretends to hate.
Combining the crisis itself with the idiotic rhetoric of Texas Republicans, I can’t see how this can’t be great ammunition for Democratic campaigns in 2022. If Texas turns blue, its a whole new ballgame moving forward.
Not @ProxyOP you PC, just noting that I dislike the way she’s framed this issue. We can both contribute billions of aid to other countries AND take care of our citizens, we just choose not to.
Dat 3-1 ratio. First reply is all the shit Beto is doing.
God damnit Beto why’d you have to go nuts on guns.
My sister in Austin has her power and water back on now, though the water pressure is bad and they have a boil water order. She hates her Governor with a passion.
Really, people should have just broken into the home of Ted Cruz and squatted there while he was gone.
The takeaway from this will be that the US should be keeping that foreign aid money home. And also that that money should go to fund tax cuts for billionaires.
