This story has been out for a couple hours and there’s been no confirmation and no denial from anybody. Kind of makes me think it’s really him. If it wasn’t him there’s be someone saying he’s at home or something but it’s just silence.

I’m all for shitting on Ted and he deserves it. I’m even LOL’ing at the optics. Like, WTF dude. Make a few calls and pretend to care, even if you give zero shits.
That said, is there anything he can actually do? Like, I don’t blame him for saying “Fuck it, let’s go on vacation.” I mean he might as well. Know what I mean?
I already thought of that, I came up with talking to the locals about what they need, then conveying that to FEMA.

Would also note this is what Congress is doing instead of Pandemic Relief. They had to rush out of DC and leave the country in a lurch so Cruz could hurry home and leave Texas in a double lurch.
