Take Me Out To The Blockchain - Digital Sports Collectibles

Luka is now $75 :face_vomiting:

edit - now $100. LOL

It’s weird how the “collectors” have so many rares for sale.

Rarity basically means nothing, and as someone who played other tcgs growing up its annoying. A legendary rare or whatever should have less supply than a common!

I’d suspect suspect marketplace is way more active when packs come out and they can basically generate these at will

The “collectors” hyping this shit on Youtube, who have a financial interest in its success, and who managed to procure a large number of the early high-value moments have many of those moments for sale at astronomical prices. Generally the word we use for such a person is “dealer” or “scalper.”

welp, to whoever I said it’s normally 33 and thought it was fine to sell I firmly apologize for my own incompetence

common lebron’s now 250, just plain wow

I’d say it’s hilarious seeing lowest ask of 75k and top sale of like 4k on a bunch of these but they only need one idiot.

The commons haven’t moved a lot outside of some stars. This isn’t gonna end well for most of those rooks though but that’s every sports cards every year.

I’m tempted to load up on the stars who haven’t mooned yet, but I keep fighting the urge because they aren’t LE and they could print a bunch more packs.

When I opened the Lebron 3 on Monday the lowest ask was $96. It is now $249 and I imagine it might be $300 when I wake up. New people will want a Lebron and will just get whatever is cheapest, which this still is.

like i tried to say weeks ago, you can make a shit load of money in a bubble if you come early enough.

the question is who should we target after the (expected) drop tomorrow.

Oh damn just got this email

Important Updates to the Base Set (Series 2)
This is just a friendly heads up that we’re going to be switching certain CC Moments to LE on Thursday. We’ll post a blog at some point early in the day laying out more specifics about which Moments we’ll be retiring.

it’s thursday right now so this one? next one?

It’s still wednesday for me, so i’m assuming tomorrow

the last time they did it i think john wall was like the highest profile player they did.

lets see who the base 2 cc’s are

yeah you’re right, I’m dumb. Forgot it was am here and only know what day it is during NFL seasons since I know when sunday is

That’s what I’m wondering…

herro commons are only $5, I’d snap a few if I could, they’re usually like 8 anyway

but he has a bunch of LE’s already so that isn’t likely

lavine’s at 3/4 fox is at 3

I’d be fine buying those at that price without the LE, worst case they’re so flooded they’re 2 bucks?

I just saw an embiid for 9 but that’s too low anyway probably gone by the time anyone reads this

the worst LE commons are still 5-6, some bot is gonna make bank though

im gonna just try to f5 their twitter and spam buy i guess if im awake when we learn what is gonna be LE

On second thought, my new plan is going to be to just YOLO one player and buy a bunch of the cards for $3. I feel like worst case, I lose 5%. Maybe I lose 35% (sell for 2$). But can’t lose more than that i dont think
