Well, it depends.
I disagree if he’s the head of a decent cast. He’s better than anyone on Brooklyn that made the playoffs last year.
He’s a hell of a lot better than Isaiah Thomas when they won all those games in Boston and was an AS.
He can carry only so much usage but there’s no reason he couldn’t win like Ray and Reggie did before as #1’s (Ray won 52 in Seattle).
If they wanted a young guy just out of college then why didn’t they go with Shaq? He was the 1st pick in that year’s draft (Laettner was 3rd). I guess just b/c they wanted the white pretty boy from Dook.

Most people would probably say Klay is better than anyone on Toronto and that team was going to win 60 games this year.

It’s close. I’m Canadian so watched like 40+ Raptors games this year, but have seen Klay in person and his movement off ball is so, so impressive. Genuinely probably top 3 in the NBA. You could build a really good team around Klay.

Yeah, it’s hard to say. There are a lot of variables, and context is enormously important, and even still just in a total vacuum I don’t know know who is better. Klay’s quality is hard to quantify.
