I get to pick between these two photos. Also, anyone want a signed photo of Mike Love’s nephew or former Brazilian 6 man of the year?

Did anyone else make a bracket and then use ncaagamsim.com to simulate the results each day that tournament games should have happened?

Tonight is the big title game: (4) Ohio State vs. (3) Kentucky

I was a big believer in San Diego State fwiw

They lost to 15 seed Little Rock in the first round.

Remember the time an undefeated GOAT boxer was 1/4 against an MMA dude in a boxing match and like 1/1 to win by TKO or KO and I’m not filthy rich?

How much money could a casual have put down on that match before being cut off?

This brought back some memories and it put things into perspective, given well, you know…

12 years ago, 2008, it was the middle of the worst recession in our history. At the time, some people were thinking it would be a depression. In the middle of it, ZZ, YY myself, JJ were hired by MM to launch and build the Pub side of the Fox Audience Network (with many other amazing people and friends tagged). I remember thinking “How in the hell am I going to build a business from the ground up in the middle of this?” Back in 2008, websites (this was before CTV) needed all the help they could get, and at Fox, we could help them as we had all the best advertisers spending with us. Not only did we make it out of it, but the past decade has been filled with growth and incredible memories: WIFE and I had our two incredible children: KID1 and KID2, they are now 9 and 10. I helped build an online ad exchange: OpenX. I launched a huge internet brand: TrueCar and went public. I grew CBS’s programmatic business from nothing to something. And in the middle of another crisis, I’m building another business, this time in the data space and again, ironically, it’s a similar story: giving Publishers money when they need it most.

One half year after we started up Fox Audience Network (FAN), 2009, we debuted to the market at #7 on ComScore’s Top Media list, a feat that was considered herculean and impossible, again, in the middle of a terrible recession with record unemployment.

I lay all this out not to beat the chest, but because I know we are in a seemingly dark, uncertain place right now, and this is the time when true leaps of innovation are made, and on the other side will be a new world, with similar, incredible memories to be made. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy. Most important, love the ones you are with today and stay positive, greatness lies ahead. Onward!

From advertising (I think?) bro on my FB feed. Does anyone know what any of this means? Specifically - what’s a publisher in this context? What’s CTV? What’s programmatic business? What’s ComScore?

Comscore is a marketing analytics company. Programmatic business is automated, targeted online ad buying. CTV is connected TV aka smart TVs. I think publisher just means online content creator in this context aka the sites you place ads on.

So, this guy appears to be bragging about making money from helping companies target you with ads better.

No no no, he’s not beating the chest.
