Stan vs Medvedev was great too, I’m wondering if this is the year Zverev does something but I’ll believe it when I see it.
I really like Medvedev, he seems like such a calm and humble guy. Loved that final he played against Nick in the Washington Open last year.
He’s very fun to watch, capable of basically any shot that exists and inventing new ones. His defense is Murray-esque sometimes. Calm tho, maybe recently but he’s been a bit of a bad boy of tennis no?
I’ve only watched a few of his matches. Maybe he just seemed calm compared to Nick.
UPSET ALERT
Rafa down 2 sets to Thiem after losing two tiebreaks.
would be great if he lost until Djokovic easily rolls through to a win
Not gonna lie, I left for work with Rafa still down a set fully expecting him to win. Good on Thiem for righting the ship.
Hoping Djoker/Fed 50 is competitive at least, but I’ll be surprised if Fed can grab a set. I’d love to see Fed raise his game and give us a classic.
Serious question, how has Monstert not been picked up by the media yet? Its a perfect nickname.

As a very occasional hockey fan - wtf is this stupid shit?
It’s like they’re cheating the system.
A relic of the 1990s.
Wasn’t expecting to wake up and find the AO final still going. Djoker up a break in the fifth set.
If the rest of the match was like this, I missed some hella good tennis.
Djokovic is obviously on PEDs. The only question is how many of the other dudes are as well.
Tuned into first XFL Game. Looks like football.
Seriously this has been an enjoyable game. I have watched plenty of non nfl games and I usually can’t stand five minutes of it.
The local guy on the radio probably said if he was a season ticket holder he would sue.
The “highlights” I saw looked like football played by scrubs who couldn’t make the practice squads. What about the NFL season results leads you to believe there is enough talent for the teams in the NFL let alone a whole separate league? XFL is just another excuse to pay people to kill themselves for TV ratings.
