2x MVP, 3x champion, 6x all-star. First ballot if he retires tomorrow.

Beyond that, he’s one of the few guys who changed the game.
Additionally he’s uber famous w/ rare crossover appeal. My mom knows who Steph is. My wife loves him. His face was all over ABC with Holey Moley (which got picked back up), where LeBron looked stiff as a board in the promos for whatever his crossfit gameshow was.
Also was famous collegiality at Davidson. Don’t forget, it’s not the NBA HOF - it’s the basketball HOF. That’s why like Yao and Drazen Petrovic are in there, along with a ridiculous amount of college coaches. Bill Walton is in there in large part due to his college fame.

Cowturd had some hot take machine on his show Tuesday making exactly this point in defense of Jordan’s comment.
He didn’t want to get charged with tampering.
