I’ve been following it, but I am one of those people who actually watched the Stones stuff before this blew up.
Wish i could talk shit on kershaws dismal post season performance EVERY single fucking year without every dodger homer jumping all over me. He just cant handle it. Bench him in big games for all I care. I dont want him on the mound at all.
You can point to his season stats all you want but the dudes making like $50k for every pitch he throws. Put up or get the fuck out.

Some of those games just seem like bad luck. Bunch of dinks over and over and the like.
Now he’s old and doesn’t have elite stuff anymore so it’s like Maddux and Glavine where their control isn’t as dominant as Smoltz’s stuff in the playoffs.
It’s not his fault that the Dodgers pay him more than what he’s now worth, like NYY with Jeter and ARod at the end. He’s still performing pretty well for being on a legacy contract.
Specific to pitchers?
In general, OPS is on base % plus slugging. It’s maybe the best simple stat for rating hitters. Shows how often you get on base plus how much power you have.
Meanwhile in the Rugby World Cup, Japan pulled off a stunning upset win over Ireland and is now somehow 1st place in a group with both Ireland and Scotland. 'Straya in first in their group but my Welsh boys are hot on their heels.

That was a crazy game. I’m a Yankees fan and even I admit the Twins got robbed at times LOL. Twins had top 6 hardest hit balls of the game but all 6 were right at fielders LOL. GJGE. Didi, Torres and Judge all had sick catches/plays in the field. Even Britton caught that comebacker up the middle.
Having said that, bring on the Astros.
