SARS-CoV-2: Electric Superflu

You are simply saying you can’t be bothered with the inconvenience. Your logic about safety of others is off. If your recklessness results in you getting infected then you might steal an ICU bed from someone who wasn’t out there buying organic papayas every week.

Slightest bit of nasal congestion and I’m freaking out. It’s completely normal for me. Bleeping flowers in bloom all along the trail and I am usually a bit stuffy 90% of the time.

Have been unusually clear headed the last couple of weeks. So now any stuffiness is suspect . Also remembered that I took my Zyrtec only a bit a go. Forgot this morning. That must be it.

No worries.

I mean I didn’t disagree, lots of regular people have it of course and our official numbers and lack of testing is a complete joke. But people who travel a ton and interact with people who travel a ton are obviously going to have this at much higher rates than normal people.

I was going to post: Why?

I then realized I conflated, “What’s in the box?” with Nancy Kerrigan.

I saw the end of seven before I watched the whole movie. Any movie with her head in a box is two thumbs up from me.

Spoiler alert!

Fatboy8 should do this. Seems ideal.

Hard to believe that was 25 years ago. Time does fly. Until your stuck at home all day everyday.

I’m pretty sure a colleague/friend has it. She self quarantined a few days ago out of caution, checked on her today and she’s like, I’m fine, just really tired, my joints ache and I have a fever that spikes every night, but no cough, so I’m good… I’m like, no, that sounds like a lot of accounts, you need to call a doc ASAP and see if you can get tested.

I remember at the height of the limit hold em boom dealers were raking as many chips they could fit in their hand per pot. Still mad I didn’t move there and set up a couple tables in a bar.

I’ve had that (and dry eyes) for a while. For me it’s indoor allergens. Probably need to clean my flat better. Maybe open the windows for some ventilation.

Makes it hard for me to not touch my eyes. Thankfully, I haven’t been outside in the last 3 days.

So that’s how you get a jade egg up there.

Foods likely to be impacted in the near term include leafy greens, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes and melons, he said.

I haven’t had a haircut in about 7 weeks. This is normally the upper limit for me.

Have an appointment booked for Friday. Melbourne cases still pretty low, but sheesh. Seems a high risk.

The only problem is that if I don’t get it done now I won’t be getting a haircut for 6 months… Maybe I just need to roll with it, and use clippers to hack back at the shaggiest parts.

As I understand it, the main symptoms of coronavirus are: dry cough, fever, difficulty breathing.

Things that are not typical symptoms of coronavirus are congestion, runny nose, sneezing.

It goes without saying that I am just an untrained unqualified anonymous dickhead on the internet, so talk to your doctor if you’re feeling ill of course. Also, if you have a non-novel cornavirus common cold kind of thing you should still practice basic sanitation and maybe take sick leave if you can if you’re sneezing and congested because the boring normal diseases we’re used to actually do kill people.

There’s a wide range of bad shit that can happen between flu like symptoms and dead. Lots of young healthy people are going to end up on a ventilator. Not near as many as olds of course, but young healthy adults aren’t immune from this turning to pneumonia and then SARS/ARDS.

lol - talking to a friend earlier who was speculating when mens grooming would crop up in general conversation. He had it a few weeks away but it seems we both didn’t appreciate it enough :)

(I can go a couple more weeks but I’m going to have to snip the eyebrows before then)

So did Australia go on a testing spree? The numbers seem to have grown faster than projected down under.

Lol “talk to your doctor.” I have A+ coverage by USA #1 standards and have little to no chance of that.
