Talking on the phone drains my life force.
I understand that. I hate being on the phone and I have had to force myself to use the phone instead of email or text. I am pretty good about assertively making the call get right down to business and get it over with quickly.
I’ve gotten very tired of a bunch of things that happen with emails or texts, especially when you ask two questions and they only answer one of them.
lol come on. I know I should be used to your hysteria by now but you do know this virus is only transmitted through sneezes, coughs and transference to your face (usually by your own hands).
As long as you aren’t coughing and spluttering into the air (when you shouldn’t be outside anyway) as someone passes you (or vice versa) please explain the risk. What are you doing when you go out for a walk?
I’m in a low earth orbit on the ISS. Is it ok to take a space walk?
If that’s so it would depend totally on his location.
If you have any TP don’t try to be a hero. Just hand it over.
where are you seeing this update?
My dumbfuck trumpkin state representative, who only wants to climb the ladder, is going on and on about the Ohio Governor and the Ohio Supreme Court stealing the legislature’s authority. He’s getting mostly negative reactions, but plenty of crazies telling him to die on this hill. That saying might have more meaning in a few weeks.
An older friend of mine in an olds’ community says they’re shutting down outdoor areas like the pool, tennis courts, putting greens, horseshoes, shuffleboard etc. Seems a bit much but ok.
ADA recommends postponing elective procedures for at least 3 weeks.
this is the best site for tracking numbers that i have found.
I really need a 12-day silent meditation right now. I’m basically doing the exact opposite - a noisy, chaotic anxiety freakout. It’s a negative compulsion at this point.
And the Ohio legislature is reconvening to set a new primary date. Which I’m sure they will set sooner than the governor wanted, to try and make a point.
False, it is also aerosolized in your breath and can stay in the air for up to three hours, according to the latest research. But my main concern is other people cough, sneeze, etc and it falls to the pavement, where it can probably live for 2-3 days. Then you get it on your shoes, track it back into your place, and now you’re at risk of spreading it within your home if you aren’t extremely careful.
This is why there were videos going around of massive disinfectant efforts on streets in Asia. So I was curious what other people’s levels of concern were with this. Mine is low for now, as evidenced by having gone for a walk, but I wanted to check in with others who are also very informed.
Thanks Dyson for sending me an email about your actions in regards to the covid 19 virus.
I’m far from convinced that spraying the streets does any good at all.
We’re all going to need to de-stress and get whatever physical exercise we can to get through this thing and walking in a park seems like it shouldn’t introduce much risk. I’m gonna aim for brisk 1.5-hour daily walk in the park while I listen to podcasts.
Ita fucking crazy that Seattle casinos took longer to shut down than Vegas. Like, pure insanity. They were the fucking outbreak epicrnter. They should have been closed two weeks ago.
