SARS-CoV-2: Electric Superflu

Holy crap.

Sweet. And only 2 months after it should have been done.

holy fuck. I thought texas was bad with requiring 60 day notice before move-out, but “you need to let us know whether you want to make a year long commitment four months ahead of time or we’ll kick you out” is crazy awful.

I am still skeptical. The CNBC article has a definitive statement but I would like to see some supporting documentation on how it was implemented. I feel like news agencies are reporting on each other reporting on insane tweets.

I hope I am mistaken as it is really important.

Sure, but you can’t just take two necessarily correlated variables, show that they’re correlated, and then conclude that one explains the other. Does expanded testing explain some of the rise? Sure. How much? It sure ain’t all of it, but we’ll never know, because we aren’t testing that extensively.

Jesus Christ

Yeah, that sort of thing really should be off limits during all this. And most of the parks are closed anyway.

Lol won’t be needed guise they’ll get 1200 eventually which will only cover 2 months of rent maybe with nothing left over

Yeah 4 month notice seems insane but I am not sure what kind of apartments are $350-$600 a month. I live in a very low cost of living area and those prices sound cray cray unless for tiny studios. Ins0 already said he is not a slum lord.

I guess it is some sort of student housing. But I agree four months notice on a twelve month lease is pretty severe.

It’s the midwest, I may be moving to Ohio in the near future and I’ve found plenty of nice 1-2 bedroom apartments in the $500-$800 range. If these are just standalone duplexes with no amenities I could see that price being about right.

Source, please?

Nm, blind! Thanks.

When do we get to the guillotines episode?

Welcome back to posting cilldroichid

There might be people dying of corona who weren’t tested, but you are saying that people who are apart of the tested column aren’t being counted in the deaths?

Or are we not testing people who are near death and wandering into hospitals?

Rarely post but always lurking.

It’s mostly just deaths lagging. We’ve ramped testing now, and cases take 3+ weeks to proceed to death. It will rise over the next month.

We’re seeing doctors/nurses who are saying that covid patients who have died in their hospitals are not reflected in the counts for their states/counties.

I haven’t seen an explanation of whether we’re counting people who die from pneumonia without having a positive test in our death tally, but even if the guidelines suggest that we do so I would be shocked if we aren’t missing lots.
