The Czech government says that if businesses stay closed longer than 10 days, the economy would not be able to handle it and a recession would begin. So yeah, definitely gonna be problems come the 24th cause this isn’t going away.

Here in Idaho they’ve closed some schools starting Monday w/ others closing on Wednesday (our household’s).
I’m a stay at home dad with a wife who wfh on the reg in an industry that’s basically as safe as can get w/ a job in a crucial dept.
We’re in an amazing situation to fade all of this yet my mind is already wandering to what measures I’d be willing to take if it went total dystopian. I can’t help but start making plans. I told my wife I wish I had a larger circle of friends in case I needed to create a gang.

If boomers tank the economy, they aren’t prolonging shit. They’re relying on us to take care of them when they’re old and we won’t be doing that if we don’t have the cash to spare.
If there’s no social safety net, the bottom will fall out of America and it will essentially be the next Russia. Canada’s gonna have a hell of a refugee problem going on 10 years from now. They might build a wall and make America pay for it.

No, we both WFH. Pretty much only emerging for grocery shopping.
Then yeah go for it. Reduces risk for them overall. Keeps the kids and them happy. Keeps you working.
