Resilient Rexx Keeps On Keeping On

I don’t know what’s going on but I just put on a pair of shorts and they are way too big at the waist to the point I really need to wear a belt to hold them up. Definitely taking measurements on my next weigh in day. Excited! It really shocked me that with that little weight loss clothing would show any difference.

So being all inspired by my shorts episode i decided to drag out a pair of shorts that didn’t fit me to see if now they miraculously did. Nope still not good at the waist. I can’t even get the zipper partly up. I then notice the size and brand and am pretty sure they’re the same size and brand as the pair that are now way too big. Double checked and yep exactly the same lol :woman_shrugging:

Those shorts are now my challenge. To fit in them before it gets too cold to wear them.

Weight 123 2021 Week 8
Same
START WEIGHT 125.3 GT -2.3

I thought I had a reasonable week apart from my cheat day. There’s a chance it’s water retention because I had fairly high salt yesterday. If it doesn’t go down next week I’ll drop it by 50.

I’ve notice how low your salt is before. You are on 5 out of 6 days of higher salt than normal for you.

Oh yeah I didn’t notice that. I just looked at the previous day. Definitely need to reduce that again.

Never really understood how sodium is supposed to explain weight changes that are commonly observed.

If you consume 1 gram of salt (393 mg of sodium), drinking 111 ml of water would produce an isotonic solution (same concentration as other fluids in the body), which would weigh 112 g, i.e. 0.112 kg or about 0.25 lbs. That’s barely more than the display resolution of my scale.

Yeah idk. I also wasn’t vigilant about staying under 1700, that’s probably got more to do with it. Anyway I will try harder this week to keep my calories and salt lower (salt just because of my blood pressure).

Trying that again…well, she’s more like 700mg of salt over that relative to her normal and that’s over 5 days, so that’s like 8lbs.

Assuming you mean 700 mg of sodium and my numbers are right (not guaranteed)*, it’s a little more than 2.2 lbs, or 1 kg over the 5 days. And that’s assuming the body does not expel any of the extra sodium and water.

I should say I know little about how the body works.

*numbers:
(.25 lb saline/393 mg Na)(700 mg Na/day)(5 days)= 2.2 lb

Whatever dude, I bet Rexx isn’t going to like your post.

Wait till you hear my cold fusion theory of weight gain.
