It’s been refrigerated, but got pushed to the back of the fridge and I just noticed it now. It’s my daughter’s leftover birthday cake. It was purchased from the supermarket on September 22nd.

Too late.
I’ve taken a week to eat cake now that there are no kids in the house.
(Tho not chocolate, I’m allergic).
Found this.
I’ve eaten week old birthday cake that WASN’T refrigerated without a problem.
you poor guy
It makes me a “catch”. My wife gets double chocolate whenever we both get some.
I actually ate some of my wedding cake a year later.
It was not good, but I didnt die
Update: I have regrets.
It’s good for the immune system, toughen you up
Right, but how’s the cake?
But that was kept in the freezer I assume?
should have done the spartan thing and gave your wife seconds
That would have resulted in less cake for me.
dont people like put their wedding cake in the freezer and eat it years later?
I assume the cake has already been eaten but as long as nothing is off about the cake, eat it if you haven’t already.
Should be good to eat it until it is moldy.
If you can’t see any noticeable fungi it’s good to eat in my house. If noticeable fungi, just remove fungi and eat rest.
