I was getting at everything is personal to some extent. But six was banned for a “personal attack”. Nobody to my knowledge has said what post it was that caused that.
Someone created a thread to ask why and it turned into a bunch of posters making personal attacks about six.
Right, so he can come in and shit all over 6, and then we have to drop it and leave his disinformation unchallenged just because he says he’s done. You know, he has agency to just not read things he doesn’t like.

I don’t think anything is going to fix this – too far gone imo. But we will disagree on the root cause of how we got to this point, so I’m not even going to go there.

Yes, I ignored someone who was the first person in 15 years between 2+2 and UP to spend over a week launching personal attacks at me over and over, when I did not do anything likewise to them.

Sort by Categories, then click the Category, then there is a bell in the top-right to silence everything just like you would silence a thread.
More people should silence threads and subs they don’t like. Complaining about people having a discussion you are not interested in should be a ban.
This, but not so much threads and subforums, but other users.
If certain people would just not respond to (or mute) certain other people, like 95% of the problems would go away instantly.
