I read some twitter replies from people saying things like “This ad might actually work on my dad,” which helped change my mind.

If Biden is actually targeting The Villages as potential voters, they must have some insanely good internal polling. I’d imagine that in normal times a dem targeting there would be like Trump running ads in DC.

Boomers and Silents are crazy crazy crazy selfish. Pretty sure Trump lost a lot of votes in the Villages when he let COVID run wild there. Everyone who lives there is going to know someone dead or seriously seriously affected by the time election day rolls around.
BBC quote Real Clear Politics as their source for this graph but on the 4th August RCP had biden up by 7 points, not 4. They haven’t shown Trump as high at 45 since Feb.
