“buttress males!”

someone linked me to them having Heat favorites to beat the Lakers too. It’s just a weird broken individual player model that i’m not sure why they even use to project team success.

What am I missing here? How is Utah going blue?

But if the democrats were smart and SCOTUS ruld against them they should just say “Fuck you what are you going to do about it.” As that is absolutely what the republicans would do.

I think she means that Democrats have gained since 2016, which still is a little odd, since Trump won it by 18 points (45 to 27). Technically Biden closed that gap, but the shift is minimal, there is no Mormon as a third candidate this year and a two-point-shift is way less than the national average.
So yeah, still a strange tweet.

edit: the last „regular election (Romney doesn‘t count ldo) was McCain beating Obama 62-34. obviously a shift from that, but Mormons seem to be „real deal conservatives“ who are not into Trumpism that much. So again: not really tat surprising as an outsider

This is pretty much it. Honestly, the equal protection argument is logical. People in certain counties were more likely to have their votes counted then others if only those counties were hand-counted.

Iirc gore would have lost if the partial recount happened but would have won if the full recount happened.

Would also say that was only the stated reason for their ruling. Not trusting them to actually be consistent

How has: “Bill Barr, arrest Clinton, Obama, & Biden” worked out so far though?

Swing blue relative to it’s vote share in 2016.

Welp, my friend’s mother will be voting Trump here in PA. Never Trump in '16 but she “doesn’t trust” Kamala and she’s afraid of socialized medicine, so it’s her “American duty” to vote for Trump.

“There’s things with Trump also,” though.

Being afraid of socialized medicine is like saying you are afraid of free ice cream.

You really want to trust Barr on voting issues?

Well that sugar is no good, especially with shitty healthcare.

It’s not “trusting” him. It’s knowing that he knows what he has the power to do and not do. By “power” I mean, actual ability to carry something out, not the powers given to him by the constitution. And boy, him thinking he has the ability to order people to seize ballots and that those people will necessarily listen to him seems unlikely to me.

He just has to side with the Trump campaign on the case to stop counting, then enforce any court ruling. But he could try to do more.

Believe me, I have very little faith in the courts right now. But I just have trouble envisioning a scenario where a court orders a stop to an initial count. Stopping a recount, fine. A challenge to the results, fine. But an initial count? I really don’t see it.

They might if a county ignores its state deadline to stop counting.
