Big elephant in the room there … there’s no shame boys - be proud of who you are ffs.
Government is the only entity with enough potential power to check corporations. Corporations benefit from government being weakened and less able to regulate business.
No way McConnell or lots of Republicans with power actually think like that. In reality they do big government regulation/program stuff whenever it suits them.

LIke, I get that they’re both internal polls, but one of them shows the democrat up by 2, and how the fuck is the kansas senate seat close?
Chaffing?
They do big government stuff when it’s in the best interests of their special interests, but the Republican agenda has had a “starve the beast” philosophy for a long time. As Grover Norquist said, “My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub.”
Republicans are anti-government because government has prevented them from doing things that they want to do. And Republicans want to do a lot of things that they shouldn’t be allowed to do.
Republicans oppose anything that might justify a more powerful government that can tell them what to do. They are fine with a government that funnels cash to them and does what they tell it.
Kilmeade tried — but failed — to find an excuse for the president’s failure.
“Donald Trump ruined the biggest layup in the history of debates by not condemning white supremists,” Kilmeade said. “I don’t know if he didn’t hear it, but he’s got to clarify that right away.”
Mitch McConnel is not Grover Norquist. Cite actual Republicans with power like McConnell, GWB, or Trump. None of them doing anything like the wholesale cutting of government that the Norquists of the party talk about. They do all cut taxes, but they don’t care about debt.
And we’re talking about the ACA, not public healthcare. The ACA is not talking anything away from private industry.
If that ad isn’t playing in every fucking swing state by tonight in giant media buys on every channel then whoever is running Biden’s campaign needs to be fired.

“43% Rasmussen!”
His Rasmussen approval rating has also gone from +4 to -10 in a week and a half.
