A lot of van dwellers turn the passenger seat around.

My van has a lot of windows, so it’s more like I’m on display. Someday curtains.

I’ll have to see if I can dig up a picture of my family’s van from when I was in middle/high school. My dad was a snowboard instructor on the weekends, so we’d either spend every weekend at his mountain or take a trip up to NY/VT. He converted a Honda Odyssey (the smaller version, not the van) into a full mini resort. 3-4 beds, a kitchen, fully insulated, heated through ducts that connected into the rear license plate. It was surprisingly cozy and comfortable.

Oh and it looked like a giant traveling bomb. He got stopped at the Canadian border for questioning once which was quite the story.

No idea why the water freezes green. These weekly morning hikes have been amazing and with snow on the ground even better.
