Their negroes are of the house kind is basically what they are saying.
We are all basically House negros to the 1%
If they’re from out of state, are they carpooling or something? What states are they from? Aren’t there any protests in their own states? Where are they parking?
I think I should indicate why I am here in Birmingham, since you have been influenced by the view which argues against “outsiders coming in.”… So I, along with several members of my staff, am here because I was invited here. I am here because I have organizational ties here.
But more basically, I am in Birmingham because injustice is here…
Moreover, I am cognizant of the interrelatedness of all communities and states. I cannot sit idly by in Atlanta and not be concerned about what happens in Birmingham. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. Never again can we afford to live with the narrow, provincial “outside agitator” idea. Anyone who lives inside the United States can never be considered an outsider anywhere within its bounds.

Any official who spews this thoroughly brain dead crap is stepping outside of their own communities themselves. Fuck them.
This speaks to who has connections to power in this country and who doesn’t. Who has been in his ear the last few days?
Trump? Yes.
Police Chief? Yes.
Business owners? Likely.
Protesters? Not likely.
(Brought up as a Quaker) I have a folder of gifs/images/mems on my desktop that I try to ensure contains a least 1 for each emotion/situation/mood etc …
Dark web claim!
LOL 80% of the demonstrators are from outside Minnesota? Do they commute? Or are they filling up the hotels? So there’s an economic boost there?
I watched approx. 15,000 loops of that.
Uh-oh, might be his kneeling leg. Is there a knee-equivalent for ambidextrous?

This press conference is so nuts. What organized criminal entity are they talking about? What would be their incentive? How are they making money by destroying buildings. Is it some kind of organized real estate cartel looking to lower property value?
Funny, I don’t see any fine print about it not being an injury to any who just happen to be across some invisible lines in the sand.
Re: Minneapolis mayor and Minnesota governor: I guess it is not surprising to hear that people in power will say things (even stupid and untrue things) in order to maintain that power. The protests/riots are the only way for the powerless to be heard.
Until the powerful hear what the powerless are saying, the protests/riots will continue and bringing in the National Guard/Military will not change that equation.
Maybe they need to speak louder.
Are all the other protesters in every other city from out of state as well? It must be the immigrants! Quick someone build a wall!
I’m gonna need a longer clip, he could have prior injuries or health relented conditions
This has the potential to get so much bigger. Donald is a stone fucking moron who increases volatility so goddamn much.
I’m telling myself the reason I’m not out on the street tonight is COVID, but we all know it’s cowardice and I probably wouldn’t to out if there was no COVID. I hate this timeline so goddamn much.
He wants to have people rat out protestors so they can be arrested for umm… something.
Jesus this press conference is trumpian.
