The first victim - with the red shirt with black pocket (Rosenbaum I think) was crazy. There’s plenty of video of him screaming at people: “Shoot me N-”. There are claims he went for Rittenhouse’s gun, which if anyone would do that I could see that guy doing it. Supposedly he’s a sex offender, but I haven’t confirmed that.
There is definitely a small violent criminal contingent among these protesters. And I’m not talking about frustrated locals smashing cars and streetlights with baseball bats. The shooter tonight might be one as well. Maybe they think they’re helping, or maybe they just like mayhem. I don’t think it does us any good to embrace them or pretend like they don’t exist.
