I guess this belong in here?
Utah: Gov. announces measures to prevent cops from using choke holds. Protests at the Capitol have been much smaller. Caution tape is gone. People having picnics and sunning themselves on the grounds. Cops making themselves scarce. NG and Humvees are gone. Neighborhood no longer being surrounded by police.

It’s a real headache. You’re not guaranteed a refund on the fees on tickets from everywhere, which is disgusting. I got my Coachella refund which was full, but first it was pushed back to October and I wasn’t getting a refund yet. Most postponed shows don’t give you a refund option and going through your credit card company is not fun.
Got all my refunds for summer shows except Ween which rescheduled for August. Pretty sure that will get postponed or cancelled. Also have tix in October for concerts that are still on.

This is a car crash… In the sence that you know you don’t want to click that tweet, but I know you all can’t not do that.
Aren’t you Minn? Was going to come down for deftones/decemberists/green day in Aug.
There’s a bunch of cardboard signs on telephone poles in my neighborhood detailing out how to be a good ally. The signs had several QR codes each. Maybe I’ll see where they lead next time I walk by them.
I’m a few hours from Minneapolis. The Ween show is supposed to be at Surly brewery. All my other concerts were in Denver, Tahoe, and SF.
Wanted to see The Hold Steady there last year but the weekend ended up being freezing for the 8 hr drive/outdoor show.
I have no idea who most of those people are, but assuming they are professional actors could they really not do better than blandly reading off cue cards? Don’t they memorize lines and say them believably for a living!?!?
I’ve heard it is a nice place. We almost went after a Twins game but did something closer to my friends’ house in Bloomington instead.
I’ve only been to Surly for beer, but I can see that being a good outdoor concert venue.
Humble Bundle announced a $1 million Black Game Developer Fund, which is cool. When I saw the announcement on Facebook, though, I made the gigantic mistake to read the comments.
Holy shit.
For example, one guy said, “I don’t support people based on skin color as that is racist.”
Someone responded to that, saying, “That’s the type of person I change sidewalks for tbh”
