It is weird that 2A advocates only have 1.5 amendments in their constitution.
San Diego today. Stayed peaceful afaik
Also, mark it down, we’re officially living in unprecedented times. For the first time ever, the 3rd Amendment has been invoked. Of course R senator Mike Lee is an idiot.

disclaimer: IANAL and have no idea if the 3rd actually applies to hotels, but the twitter search is fucking hilarious
Powerful words from Cory Booker, interviewed by Stephen Colbert.
Worth a listen.
How is Biden a better choice than this guy?
M4A would be a massive civil rights victory. I’m really struggling to understand your point here. Economic justice and social justice are inexorably linked.
Olympia has a pretty awesome anarchist community. They won’t cower.
Doesn’t feel like a Third Amendment case. The government is paying for the hotel rooms at the standard government rate. If the Third Amendment applies to hotels, the owners are still allowed to consent. I don’t think the hotel owners are turning down revenue in this economy and if they want to, I think we would have heard them complain by now.
You can clearly see him carrying a helmet at the start of the video, while he approaches the police.
Several videos of police brutality have emerged during protests over the death of African American George Floyd.
Several … keep up BBC - the T. Greg Doucette twiitter feed is now at 226

Anyone still watching MSM channels? How are they projecting the protests now? From what I’ve seen they’ve been entirely peaceful for the last couple days and its all been police brutality. Has the MSM been showing that?
not saying it wouldn’t be. I’m saying that now is possibly not the best time to slide into black twitter with hot takes and “well actually’s” about ending capitalism and class warfare. That there are progressives out there who care more about idpol and civil rights than socioeconomic concerns. The more you do it, the more you will get push back from so-called “centrists.”
To you, the former follows the latter. To others, the class war takes a back seat to other concerns.
By the way, people who value progress in civil rights before tearing down the neoliberal world order are not necessarily centrist. They just have different progressive priorities. It’s why the “everyone who isn’t screaming for the end of capitalism is a republican” hot takes just make people angry.
Before you tell me that tearing down the neoliberal world order would progress civil rights, you’re right, it would. Maybe. Maybe not, though. Until real systematic change is made and policies are actually anti-racist (rather than just equal for everyone), it isn’t going to happen, no matter what socioeconomic system we operate under.
I am so pissed that the protest in Prague was called off due to covid19 restrictions while Vienna gets 50,000 people.
If Floyd wanted to be a Supreme Court Justice he should have pulled himself up by his bootstraps and (checks notes …) developed a serious drinking problem in high school and raped someone. Huh.
THIS is the Andrew Cuomo I remember. Not the pandemic briefing guy.
I disagree with much of what you wrote but I appreciate the response
Since we dont have good YouTube video mashups here’s a list of 260 police initiated brutality instances
