What about 2 year degrees for officers? Nurses do the same thing.
More education. Less cops. More women in positions of authority.

Can confirm police were stationed in and around my hs pre Columbine. Their main responsibilities seemed to be to (a) break up fights (b) bust kids who tried to ditch class (c) search the stoners to see if they were dumb enough to carry their pot/acid on campus and (d) write speeding tickets to the kids who were running late to class in the morning. Post Columbine they probably would have done something about the kids with fully stocked gun racks in their pickups, but that wasn’t a priority at the time.
I deleted it, I really really hate that person man, i had to block her on twitter just because her twitter is just lights out crazy and i couldnt stand seeing it. Wasn’t wishing death on her, just would love for her to get knocked down a peg, non violently.
Fair. I’ll delete my quote.
She sounds mentally ill.
This motherfucker’s trying to make me like him!
Fuck. It’s gonna be a brutal crackdown.
10 seconds in and already too tilted.
Is it the protests or the police that make it so we can’t go outside without fear of arbitrary violence?
Here it comes.
lol toilet paper in a bud light bottle? That’s not how you molotov cocktail bros! Hopefully the “I’m an idiot and don’t know how to actually make a functioning molotov cocktail” will fly as a defense in court. Not optimistic though.
edit: eh, that might be a rag. Who knows.
edit2: lol nope
“During the arrest, officers observed in plain view several precursor items used to build a Molotov cocktail, including a lighter, a Bud Light beer bottle filled with toilet paper and a liquid suspected to be gasoline in the vicinity of the passenger seat and a gasoline tank in the rear of the vehicle,” prosecutors said.
Antifa and foreign actors!
Can’t watch the Bill Barr show.

“. . . police officers accused of beating Rodney King.” JFC.
Barr of course didn’t say one single word about all the police instigating violence.
Oh here comes the FFFEEEBBBEEEEEEYEYEYEYEYEYE
This sources say you are basically correct (and that I was basically wrong)…
This was linked from this report…
The rise of police officers in schools, often referred to as School Resource Officers (SROs), can be traced back to the 1990’s. An increase in reported juvenile crimes and several high-profile school shootings sparked interest in assigning sworn police officers to work inside public schools. Most research and policy officially describes SROs as sworn police officers working inside public schools, and this document will address officers matching that definition. While SROs were once viewed as a critical resource in reducing deadly violence in public schools, many advocates for school discipline reform and community members have expressed concern over their presence in recent years. These advocates cite racial and ethnic disproportionality in school arrests, the criminalization of school misbehavior, and the possibility that the presence of SROs contributes to the School-to-Prison Pipeline as particular causes for concern. As a result, several communities have developed progressive models around school policing.
Cops & military out of the schools, including recruiting for either.
