Yeah, but there’s still a big difference in left wing/liberal and being on the side of the people as opposed to the establishment.
Nancy Pelosi is left wing/liberal, but she’s probably cool with the National Guard coming in, knocking heads, restoring order and making the tiniest incremental improvement we can make then moving on.
My original point was about about main stream media and talking heads. I really got no beef with small local news which doesn’t have a huge focus on politics. Although from my understanding a lot of local news is now owned by Sinclair which is a right wing company.

I’m just entirely frustrated with the media at this point and how they treat progressive policies and social justice. It’s disgusting. All I see is them going to bad for the status quo and nobody actually seeking about the truth like they are supposed to do. well part to that point is our culture, we’re far more likely to tune in to things burning or breaking than we are with “look at all these people helping each other” and I don’t have an idea of how this could be fixed (without it being much worse, like state owned media).
regarding the latter, their biggest problem is if trump pulled their pass they’d probably be out of a job. Frustrates me as well that they don’t ask better questions because we need it (some of them still appear like they don’t get it and of course stuff like OANN and whatever getting to ask alongside them isn’t helping at all).

We’re cool bud. If I ever decided to get back in the biz, it wouldn’t be at a Sinclair station. They had a reputation of being cheap and treating their people like crap. Now I guess they got the conservative spin thing going too, so I feel really bad for the folks who work there.
And I agree they could be asking much better questions of everyone.

J20 is the worst case scenario charges wise, but it’s not close to being the same set of circumstances.
First, well over 90% of those arrested at J20 were experienced radical activists. Second, of those, over 90% refused to cut a separate deal, and effectively were collectively bargaining.
Second, that was ~230 arrested, one mass arrest, one jurisdiction. This will be thousands arrested, with the arrests being done in all sorts of ways, in jurisdictions all around the country.
