Police Murder George Floyd Then Riot Nationwide (Links to Streams in OP)

on the la feed a huge group was trying to break into a small business called “Japan LA” for some reason

Yeah, gotta mute the MSM feeds. Speaking of…

Next up: Down and tear-gassed out in Beverly Hills. CBSN feed.

This plan worked in the 60’s:

Using Trump’s propaganda line isn’t cool to me. Do you not think there’s a point where the demonstrations themselves play into the hands of Trump and Company? Or would it just be the media’s fault?

KKK/white supremacists showed up?

I mean, i guess. the cops decided to call for backup (SDPD) so more cops showed up with riot gear and tear gas.

Ah that’s more standard, I thought that might have been one of those klanny SD suburb areas.

MAGA just showed up at Vegas

La Mesa and El Cajon are borderline…kind of the buffer zone between San Diego proper and east county bumfuckery

Trumps line worked because he tapped into something real. Of course he did it for all the wrong reasons, but the media is complete trash. First by trying to ensure Bernie did not win the primary, to a million other reasons, and now this.

And I don’t know. I think from a PR stand point fucking up local/small businesses is a bad move. They’d be much better off burning down big corporations, people have a lot less sympathy for those. I do know they’d stand a much better chance if the media showed the truth and showed all the police brutality going on. I’ve looked at it off and on and haven’t seen anything about the people being horrifically injured from rubber bullets, cops beating protesters, throwing them to the ground. Instead they just show burnt cop cars and frame it as protesters being wild and violent and out of control. They also aren’t showing all the clean up work and good people are doing in the community.

My son sis there was something going in in Duluth MN tonight. Yikes. That’s pretty small city.

This is what’s burning in Philly. Still no idea if it has anything to do with protests, but I’m leaning no.

I’m hearing SDSO not SDPD. For those not from here, the Sheriff’s Office has a decades long history of depraved violence.

ah, yeah, makes a bit more sense. Considering they cover mostly east county…

The fact all these cities have riot gear on hand means they always knew something like this was coming.

I left my apt on my bike while traffic near the Capitol in SLC was still pretty heavy so I could get across town before “curfew.” I had a hard time crossing State St but the traffic controls are confusing at the Capitol so I darted across while some dude with California plates tried to figure out what he was supposed to do.

After that it’s usually no problem on the road up City Creek Canyon because it’s one way for cars and a wide two-way lane for bikes and pedestrians. On this occasion I was almost run off the road by a caravan of 5 unmarked police cars going THE WRONG FUCKING WAY as we approach a tight turn with vehicles coming down in the other lane. They flashed their lights and sirens as they went by so I guess their asses are covered if I go off the fucking cliff. Assholes.

Yup, in part because the cops are keeping the mainstream media away from that stuff as much as possible… by literally firing on them with pepper bullets and such. Then when they flee, the story is only able to be told by social media posts from protesters. But the media are still getting very compelling footage, so they aren’t scouring Twitter for video.

I mean, Keith Ellison was on either CNN or MSNBC and mentioned the umbrella provocateur guy and they just totally ignored it, nobody has run that video on mainstream news.

So everyone just assumes all the fires are set by protesters, that’s the narrative, and that’s “not the way you go about change in America.” A lot of people may end up saying that black folks need to get back in line for their disobedience and try again later peacefully, of course they’ll never listen to that.

Thing is, this time a lot of people aren’t having it. A lot of people are wiser. A lot of us are REALLY pissed off.

The outcome of all of this, IMO, is very much unknown.

All the looting was in that area, though, on Chestnut mostly (one block over for the non-locals)… Seems like a crazy coincidence for there to be an unrelated fire right there at the same time.
