i thuoght it was a good ruling in the situation but i guess you can angle shoot it by lets say shoving river as a bluff and insta mucking if your opponent is about to call.
I actually donāt think the rules as written allow for that to happen.
I donāt really know Hi-Lo so maybe someone else can correct me, but these players were all quite bad, no?

There were several hands that seemed bungled to varying degrees.
I guess another is 2:08:00. Seems incredibly dumb by Vucancic to pick this hand to try and bully Hellmuth, but then he backs into his low. Also seems like Phil probably just has to make the crying river call? Although I guess Vucancic should have a T+ there almost always as you canāt expect him to have played a low hand like this.
The only reason hellmuth has success in the low buyin events is that is the only place where his habitual āstrategyā of slow playing everything at all times pays dividends. People want to give away their chips to him so it works.
When playing anyone with a functioning brain and not star struck he is drawing dead.
